Coconut Bliss Balls For Mom

Something sweet, healthy and a great gift for mom on mothers day!

+ they're super easy to make and you can add a seasonal glaze on the side to dip

Ingredients :

Coconut Bliss Balls

  • 12 Medjool dates
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut, plus 1/3 cup extra for rolling
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon chia
  • 3 tabelspoon of your favorite dried fruit (if desired, we love using goji berries or mangos)


  1. Place dates in a medium bowl and soak in warm water. Drain and discard seeds.
  2. Process dates, almond meal, shredded coconut, coconut oil and chia seeds until mixture comes together. Transfer to a bowl and stand for 20 minutes for chia seeds to soften.
  3. Place remaining coconut in a shallow dish.
  4. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Roll in coconut to coat.

Citrus or Lilikoi Glaze

  • 1 cup of sifted confectioner's sugar
  • tbsp passion fruit juice/pulp 
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon or orange zest
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice
  • pinch of salt


  1. Add the powdered sugar, zest, juice, and salt to a medium mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.

 Package for mom and give to her on Mother's Day!
